THE URBEX CLUB: tour #142 Warehouse Bali
B*** Peninsula / Bali, Indonesia /// 2020.01.13. @Ati RATING: ✪✪✪ DIFFICULTY: easy SIZE: 1 building
This incredible giant building with unknown function is located on a shortcut road to the highways in the Bukit Peninsula in Bali. We couldn’t find any information about it, but it seems that someone already started to clean and re-construct it, so it will be hopefully used again. Probably it was a warehouse, or a huge shopping mall once. It has got wide staircases in each corner, 3 levels, and a spectacular view of the peninsula from the top. The roof structure is also amazing, as well as the 4 staircase towers built in the Balinese style. Everything is full of raw concrete and stone brick, and of course, graffiti is everywhere.
If you know anything about this building, please contact us!
UPDATE: There are rumors, that it was intended to be a government-funded museum for the University of Udayana that began construction in 2011 but had to stop in 2013 when the funds ran dry.
