This military fort was built at the end of the 19th century and was used during the 2 world wars.
After the second WW, most of the metal was salvaged from the site and the fort was used for testing explosives by the army engineering school of Jambes.
Apart from lumberjacks working in the woods next to the fort, there was no activity when I visited it.
Even though the place is not very dangerous, be careful, it's dark in almost the whole spot and you could slip into some holes.
The place is pretty trashed (not much left in it, tagged walls,...) but it's still interesting and you can take great shots in some rooms and tunnels.
