Accidentally driving by, this artwork can't skip a connoisseurs eye ;)
Once again, we were on the road to another destination when we passed this place. Being situated right on the side of the road, you just couldn't miss it. And us being us, we had to pay it a visit.
Nothing much to say, but here is what google told us:
Some info:
Old Water Park with 14 812m²of multiple slides and pools.
Inaugurated in May 1989
Definitely closed in 1992 due to outdated piping systems (3 years, well done, haha)
In 2007, the park was the subject of a meeting between the president of the local parish council and the owner of the property, the civil construction entrepreneur Mr. Francisco C****. This meeting aimed to find a viable solution for the space that is being abandoned.
2014 - On April 16, the building was set on fire by young people. It remains abandoned until today.
