It was a massive concrete factory which started production back in 1950 to provide material for all the hydroelectrical dams that were being built in the rivers of the zone. A worker village was built nearby, which had around 400 people living.

The factory closed down in 1975 due to lack of economical profit, leaving a massive complex of long and high buildings and really high silos, which today is being claimed back by the nature, making it a unique and photogenic place.

Although it is still possible to climb to the highest parts, its absolutely not recommendable, as the stairs are external and made of metal, and are pretty oxidated with missing chunks. Also be very careful with holes, underground water reservoirs and other dangers all around the place.

Despite the dangers and everyting, its a totally unique place ideal for industrial thematic pictures.
