Wij hadden vlak voordat we erheen zouden gehoord dat er brand was geweest. Echt heel jammer. Maar toen bleek dat het nog steeds te doen was zijn we op een ochtend erheen gegaan. De auto verder weg gezet omdat er geruchten gaan van boze buren die de banden lek steken .
Aangezien de brandweer erin is geweest was de toegang nu heel gemakkelijk. De muur was eruit en de deur stond open. Eigenlijk is het van buiten mooier dan van binnen. De brand was maar op een klein deel. Maar van binnen is het compleet getrashd helaas.
Maar de mooie beroemde trap was er gelukkig nog wel.

Manoir Colimaçon is een klassieker. De locatie zelf stelt niet zoveel voor, maar je moet het wat bekijken zoals Sanotorium du Basil. Binnenkant stelt niet veel voor enkele dat er enorme draai trap in het gebouw zit die 4 verdiepen telt zeer indrukwekkend. Maar de voorgevel van deze Manoir is toch wel het hoogtepunt.

Depuis le 4 Août ou j’y suis aller, le manoir a été muré, et vidé, il n’y a plus rien à l’intérieur, tout le reste de chaussé et muré, par chance il avait oublier une petite fenêtre lors de mon dernière passage!
Mais a la l’heure actuelle je ne pense plus qu’il soit possible de rentrer, et de toute façon l’intérieur est vide et le peu qu’il reste avait été vandaliser..
Dommage c’était un très beau spot il y a encore 4-5 ans

Construit au 19eme siècle par un riche parisien,
le manoir a eu plusieurs modifications dont
le rajout de l'aile gauche avec l'escalier en colimaçon. Depuis 1976 il appartient à un iranien qui y a vécu 3ans ,puis a déménagé aux États Unis.
Nous sommes arrivés à la gauche du bâtiment .On le voyait a peine .Nous nous sommes garés ,puis avons observé. Nous avions entendu dire que le fermier d'à côté surveillait la maison ,alors nous sommes partis garer la voiture dans le village pour ne pas être repérés.Nous avons parcouru à pied ,le kilomètre qui nous séparait du bâtiment et sommes rentrés par le bois . Nous nous attendions à ce que tout soit fermé car le fermier avait bouché toutes les issues ,mais un trou avait déjà été fait dans les parpaings mis il y a à peine 3 mois. Nous avons donc fait notre visite tranquillement.

Abandonné depuis la fin des années 70 par son dernier et actuel propriétaire, le Manoir du Colimaçon Blanc se dégrade petit à petit et sans doute de manière irréversible.
Comme souvent pour ce type de lieu, le site est potentiellement dangereux et son accès est interdit. Il est en partie « gardienné » par les habitants de la ferme voisine et l’entretien du parc (les pelouses) est effectué par un troupeau de brebis qui viennent de cette même ferme !
Construit au début du XXe siècle (vers 1920), il est depuis les années 70 la propriété d’un Iranien demeurant, aux dernières nouvelles, aux États-Unis.

Premier urbex que j'ai eu l'occasion de faire et qui m'a fait tombé amoureux de la pratique.
Un manoir magnifique vu de l'extérieur qui est gardé par un petit troupeau de mouton ^^
L'intérieur est assez original ou chaque pièce a son propre style. Le plus beau reste ce magnifique escalier en colimaçon au centre du manoir.

Une architecture extérieure magnifique, c'est d'ailleurs en tombant sur des photos de ce lieu que j'ai réellement voulu me mettre à faire de l'urbex.
Malheureusement le temps qui passe et les dégradations humaines ont eu raison de ce si beau manoir... Si bien qu'il ne reste plus que le fameux escalier en colimaçon à voir a l'intérieur...
